FOUNDER and CEO
SILVER STEPS GROUP

Dear Designers,

My design projects are:

1. A4 folder, logo on front, contact details on reverse (for clients to keep relevant doc’s in), relating to this process.

2. Simplistic business cards, logo on front, contact details on reverse being.

3. A5-6 Tent card sitting in short edge, same as above.

The designs can change to suit the space size, monogram or words, symbol, you have free range to see what you believe works, it is high end, exclusive and needs to reflect this.

"Before you start, could you please confirm if the concept of a 'Retirement Village' makes sense to you, or if you'd like me to send a few links to local NZ villages for visual inspiration?"
here is one to begin with https://thehelier.oceaniahealthcare.co.nz/

"In New Zealand, moving to a retirement village is a luxury lifestyle choice. My firm acts as the professional 'Executive Family'—managing the complex logistics so the client can enjoy their new future without the stress."

Project Brief: The Silver Steps Group

1. Business Name & Identity:
• Name: The Silver Steps Group
• Tagline: Professional Advocacy for Senior Transitions
• Brand Persona: We are a Premium Professional Firm. Think "Boutique Law Firm" or "Private Wealth Management." We are the professional advocates for seniors moving into retirement villages.

2. Cultural Context (The "Why"):
• In New Zealand, moving to a retirement village is a lifestyle choice. However, seniors are often overwhelmed by the logistics.
• Our Role: We act as a "Professional Surrogate Family." We handle the heavy lifting (decluttering, home repairs, managing trades, interviewing real estate agents) that a family member would do if they were local or had the time.

3. Target Audience:
• Seniors (65+) and their adult children.
• The design must feel safe, authoritative, and extremely easy to read.

4. Design Parameters (The "Fence"):
• Style: Minimalist, clean, and sophisticated. Avoid "cutesy" icons or cartoons of elderly people.
• Colour Palette: Deep Navy (for authority), Silver/Slate, and Warm Cream (to keep it from feeling cold).
• Typography: High-trust, professional fonts. Please ensure all contact details are a minimum of 12pt for senior readability.

5. Deliverables:
• Logo Design: A strong Wordmark or Monogram.
• Business Card: Double-sided, professional layout.
• Presentation Folder: A high-quality design for our client document packs.
"I expect a minimum of 5 rounds of revisions to ensure the typography and colors are perfect for my senior audience."

6. The "First Step" Request:
• Before finalising the print files, please provide a "Brand Concept" page (showing the logo, font choices, and the colour palette in use) for my approval.

"A Quick Test for Applicants:To ensure you have read this brief, please start your response by telling me:Which of my two primary brand colors (Navy or Silver) do you think should be the dominant color for the presentation folder, and why?Confirm that you are comfortable using at least 12pt font for business cards to ensure they are easy for seniors to read.I will only review applications that answer these two questions."
