Design & Develop Bold, Distinctive Shopify Store

Shopify Website + Branding – Eco Straw Brand (AU Launch)
We’re launching a drinking straw product in Australia and are looking for an experienced freelancer to handle both branding and Shopify website build.

We’ve purchased a Shopify theme/store but haven’t built it out yet.
This is not a generic eco brand — we want something bold, playful, and visually distinctive, while still clean and conversion-focused.

Scope
You will be responsible for delivering a complete brand + website, including:
• Develop brand identity (based on references we provide)
• Apply branding across the full Shopify store
• Design and build a high-converting ecommerce website
• Improve UX/UI and overall customer journey
• Set up SEO basics and key integrations

Style Direction
• Bold colour blocking
• Strong typography
• Playful, slightly unconventional
• Retail / packaging-inspired look

Required Work
• Homepage, product page(s), About, FAQ
• Mobile optimisation (must be clean + fast)
• Clear product messaging (eco + benefits)
• Payment + shipping setup
• Domain connection

Marketing Setup (Important)
• Basic SEO (meta titles, descriptions)
• Email capture + basic welcome flow (Klaviyo or similar)
• Business email already set up (Microsoft 365)

Nice to have:
• Landing page for ads
• Meta / Google Ads setup
• Analytics tracking

Requirements (Read Carefully)
• Must have Shopify experience (send LIVE store links)
• Strong design sense (not just templates)
• Experience with ecommerce branding
• Good English communication
• Able to work independently and make design decisions
