Call for Tenders for Global Rebranding and Brand Identity Development Project
1. Introduction and Objective of the Tender
A well-established international tourism group, a leader in the authentic travel experience sector for over 30 years, is seeking a partner creative agency-freelancer for a strategic global rebranding project.
The objective is to define a memorable visual identity and a coherent brand system that will strengthen our positioning in the global market, enhance our assets, and support future growth. We are looking for a creative partner capable of translating our history and vision into a powerful visual language and flexible operational tools (e.g., templates on Canva or a similar platform) for our local teams.
Agencies selected in this initial phase will receive a full and detailed brief.
2. Who We Are: Our Profile
Background: Born from a passion for the sea and adventure, we are now a multinational company that manages diving centers, lodges, and tourism services in four unique destinations across the Caribbean, Red Sea, Mediterranean, and Indian Ocean. Our history is rooted in a genuine love for exploration, and we are recognized for our high standards of quality and safety, attested by the highest international industry certifications and partnerships with world leaders in technical equipment.
Vision: We aim to solidify our image as a global seal of quality, adventure, safety, and authenticity. Customers, both B2B and B2C, should choose our group with the certainty of living a superior experience.
Philosophy: The concept that unifies our offerings is: "We don't just offer a service; we open the doors to a world of wonders to explore." Our core business is the experience, the discovery, the authentic connection with places.
Brand Personality: If our brand were a person, it would be:
Authentic: Genuine, down-to-earth. Our story is real.
Expert: Competent and professional. We convey security.
Adventurous: Passionate about exploration, curious, and courageous.
Welcoming: We open our doors to the world with warmth and friendship.
3. Our Brand Ecosystem: Roles and Distinctions
It is crucial to understand the strategic role of each brand to differentiate them visually while keeping them under a single, strong group identity.
Holding/Corporate Brand: This is the "umbrella" brand, the guarantor of the entire group's quality. It targets partners, tour operators, and investors, communicating stability, reliability, and thirty years of experience.
Legacy Brand (Diving): This is the heart of our offering and represents excellence in underwater world exploration. It communicates adventure, passion, safety, community, and top-tier training.
Hospitality Brands: These are our 5 accommodation properties (e.g., lodges, scattered hotels, dammusi). They are not mass-market resorts, but rather entities integrated with nature and the local community. They communicate a unique, intimate, and sustainable stay; quality but not luxury, comprehensive but not "all-inclusive" in the traditional sense.
Services Brand (Excursions): This is a specialized brand for ancillary services (custom tours, transfers, etc.). Its main challenge is to stand out in crowded markets by communicating professionalism and reliability to differentiate itself from cheaper, informal local competitors.
4. The Creative Challenge
We ask you to develop a visual identity that expresses our philosophy and personality, creating specific identities for each brand while ensuring a strong and clear visual interconnection. The logo of our legacy brand (Diving) can be restyled, but it must maintain its current recognition. The goal is for a guest at one of our properties to immediately perceive the diving and excursion services as part of the same family, thus encouraging cross-selling.
5. Our Ideal Customer (B2C)
Your concepts should speak to these profiles:
"The Passionate Explorer": 30-45 years old, an experienced diver seeking authentic, non-touristy experiences. Appreciates professionalism, safety, and local knowledge.
"The Couple Seeking Thrills": 25-40 years old, love to travel, perhaps getting their first diving certification. They seek a memorable, well-organized experience with a touch of romance and relaxation.
"The Modern Family": Parents with teenage children. They are looking for a holiday that combines relaxation with engaging activities. Safety is their absolute priority.
6. Required Deliverables and Assets
The project will result in the creation of three fundamental assets: a complete Brand Book, a new corporate website that integrates the entire brand ecosystem, and a system of flexible templates (on Canva or a similar platform) to ensure autonomy and consistency for local teams. The details of the materials to be developed will include, among others:
Corporate and B2B: Business cards, brochures, sales kits (pdf presentations).
Point of Sale: Concepts for desk setups, roll-up banners, price lists, catalogs.
On-Site Communication: Directional signage, posters, experience sheets.
External Branding: Flags, boat graphics.
Apparel and Merchandising: Staff uniforms and items for sale.
7. Submission and Selection Process
Agencies and freelancers interested in participating in the selection are invited to submit the following materials for a preliminary evaluation:
Work Portfolio: A selection of your most significant projects in branding, corporate identity, and communication, with a focus (if available) on clients in the tourism, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
Detailed Quote: A cost estimate for the activities described in section 6 ("Required Deliverables and Assets"), broken down by macro-phases (e.g., Analysis & Strategy, Concept Development, Final Assets & Brand Book, Website Development, Template Creation).
Proposed Timeline: A high-level timeline for the project's execution, from the initial phases to the final delivery of assets.
Following the evaluation of these materials, the most suitable agencies will be invited to the next phase, during which the complete brief and the current brand image will be shared for the development of a creative proposal.
8. Deadlines
The deadline for submission is September 30, 2025.
Selected agencies - freelancers will be contacted to proceed to the next phase of the tender.
Thank you for your attention and interest.
