I'm the founder of Chi-Town Quantum Coffee, a new coffee and tea company. Our brand identity is fun, quirky, sarcastic, but also warm and giving. We’re building a brand that tells a story and has a personality, and I need a Shopify store that reflects that.
I'm looking for a true creative partner, not just a "task-doer," to help me either build a new store from scratch or radically redesign my current one.
About the Brand & The Vibe:
The Voice: Witty, sarcastic, and fun. We take our coffee seriously, but not ourselves. (I've included my French Vanilla description as a prime example of the voice. I want to keep these long-form descriptions).
The Look: Vibrant, bold, and unique. Think "quantum physics meets a cozy, snarky cafe." I've attached our banner and new logo to give you a feel.
The Mission: Besides selling amazing coffee, we have a "Product of the Month" that gives a donation to a charity chosen by our community. This needs to be a key feature.
The Project & Key Requirements:
I need an expert who can:
Build a Kick-Ass Store: Design and build a unique, fun, and fully functional Shopify store that screams "Chi-Town Quantum Coffee."
Integrate the Tech: The store will be primarily dropshipping via the "dripshipper" app. You must be able to set this up and optimize it seamlessly.
Solve My Image Problem: I need help creating a cohesive, professional, and on-brand look for all my coffee and tea product images. This means creating templates or a clear style guide I can use.
Tell the Story: The site design must weave our brand story (fun, quirky, giving) into the customer experience.
Highlight the Good Stuff: Create a prominent, engaging feature for our "Product of the Month" charity drive.
The Compensation: This is a Partnership
I am bootstrapping this business on my own, so cost is a factor. I'm looking for someone who believes in this brand and wants to be a part of its long-term success.
I am proposing a hybrid compensation model: Cash Fee + Recurring Revenue Share
We will agree on a total project value.
You will receive a (smaller) upfront cash payment and a higher percentage of store revenue until the remaining project balance is paid off.
After the balance is paid, you will receive a smaller, permanent percentage of revenue in perpetuity.
You're not just building a site; you're investing in its success. I'm open to negotiating the specifics with the right partner.
About You (The Ideal Candidate):
You are a proven Shopify expert with a strong design portfolio.
You get my brand's humor and can design a site that amplifies it.
You're an "ideas person" who can offer creative solutions, not just wait for instructions.
You're not afraid of long product descriptions or a client who wants to be "fun and quirky."
You have experience with dropshipping setups, ideally with the "dripshipper" app. But if not thats ok I know how it works mostly
