Music Platform Brand & GTM Strategy

Job ID: 40194475

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

Our feature-rich music platform is built and the roadmap looks solid; what’s missing is a crisp, compelling story that tells the world who we are, who we serve, why we beat the alternatives, and how we’ll take the market by storm. I’m looking for a brand strategist who can turn our current pile of product advantages into a simple, differentiated positioning and an actionable go-to-market plan.

Where we stand
• Product: core streaming and artist-centric features are functional and tested.
• Goal: lock down a clear brand narrative, refine the offer, and launch with confidence.
• Audience: still open—independent artists, labels, even general listeners are possibilities. We’ll decide using usage-behavior data rather than guessing at demographics.

What I’d like from you
1. Brand positioning framework (purpose, promise, proof, personality).
2. Audience segmentation built around engagement patterns and platform behaviors.
3. Pricing & packaging recommendations that align with the segments above.
4. Messaging hierarchy: headline, value pillars, tone guidelines ready for web, email, paid ads.
5. Go-to-market playbook covering channels, campaign themes, timeline, and KPIs for the first 90 days.

Collaboration style
I’m happy to share feature docs, early analytics, and competitive research on day one. Workshop sessions (Zoom or similar) to iterate quickly are ideal; final outputs should be delivered as editable slides/docs plus a one-page executive summary.

Acceptance criteria
• Positioning statement is unique, defensible, and test-ready with at least three key benefits tied to user behavior insights.
• Audience personas are backed by actual platform usage data (I’ll grant access via Mixpanel).
• Pricing tiers include clear value ladders and upgrade paths.
• Launch plan spells out channels, budget splits, and forecast metrics.

If you’ve taken a music or tech product from zero to launch before—or revamped one that was stuck in the “almost there” stage—let’s talk.
