Expanding my professional network is the immediate goal. All interactions will occur online, and email is the sole channel I currently use, so every step of the process must be designed around clear, persuasive written communication and deft negotiation.
What needs doing
• Map a list of targeted clients and professionals I should approach, based on the criteria I will share.
• Draft a series of outreach, follow-up, and re-engagement emails that sound personable yet business-savvy.
• Negotiate next steps—introductions, virtual meetings, or collaboration ideas—once interest is shown.
• Track replies, outcomes, and pending actions in a simple shared sheet so I can see progress at a glance.
Acceptance criteria
• At least 30 qualified contacts approached in the first week.
• Open rate above 40 % and reply rate above 15 % by the second week, backed by the tracking sheet.
• All emails remain on-brand, error-free, and respectful of local anti-spam rules.
If additional channels such as social media ever become useful, I’m open to suggestions, yet success via email remains the core KPI. Let’s build valuable connections efficiently and professionally.
