I am looking for an experienced developer with strong background in web automation (RPA) to build from scratch a robust automated system that continuously monitors a web portal for shipments (RFQs), applies configurable decision rules, executes automated actions when required, and sends real-time notifications.
The system must operate 24/7 on a Linux VPS environment and include automatic recovery mechanisms to ensure production-level reliability.
Functional Scope
The system must include the following components:
1. Web Automation
Automated login into a target web portal.
Continuous monitoring of a shipment/RFQ table.
Detection of newly posted shipments.
Extraction of key structured data:
Shipment ID
Origin postal code
Destination postal code
Prevention of duplicate processing.
Verification that automated actions are executed successfully.
2. Decision Logic
The system must:
Validate each shipment against a configurable list of allowed postal code pairs.
Automatically execute a "decline" action if shipment does not match criteria.
Include operational modes:
SAFE (monitor only, no actions)
ON (selective decline)
OFF (decline all)
Confirm that the decline action was properly applied.
3. Telegram Integration
Real-time notifications when new shipments are detected.
Alerts when automated actions are executed.
Ability to send commands via Telegram to:
Change operation mode
Add or remove allowed postal code pairs
Query system status
4. Database Layer
Store processed shipments.
Maintain event logs.
Maintain editable table of allowed postal code pairs.
Ensure duplicate prevention.
Structured logging for traceability.
5. 24/7 VPS Operation
Compatible with Linux VPS.
Configurable as a background service.
Automatic restart in case of failure.
