Odoo Sales & Purchase Entry

I need help entering both sales and purchase transactions into Odoo, using only the standard Accounting module. The charts of accounts, taxes, products, and partners are already in place; what’s missing is the day-to-day data entry that keeps the ledgers current and accurate.
Here’s how I picture the collaboration:
– You log in to my Odoo instance (v16) and post this month’s invoices, bills, and related payments.
– Source documents—PDFs, scans, and bank statements—will be uploaded to a shared folder; you simply match and record them in Odoo.
– No custom development or module tweaking is required—just correct use of the built-in accounting features, including journal selection, tax mapping, and reconciliation.
Finished work is accepted once every document provided is posted, the corresponding journals balance, and the aged receivables/payables reports tie to the source statements.
