Monthly Excel Bookkeeping & Reporting

Each month I’ll send you a complete data dump covering sales and purchases, payroll and expenses, plus any investment or loan activity. Your job is to turn that raw information into a clean, reconciled set of books inside Excel, investigate and flag any mismatches, and then generate the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet using the template I supply.

The workflow I have in mind is straightforward: import the transactions, reconcile them against bank and credit-card statements, highlight anything that doesn’t tie out, correct or comment on the issue, and close the period. When all balances match, you’ll roll the figures into my template so I can review performance and file the reports with confidence.

Deliverables each month
• Reconciled Excel ledger with clear audit trail
• Brief discrepancy log (if any) showing actions taken or questions for me
• Final P&L and Balance Sheet in my provided format

Accuracy and a quick turnaround are critical—once we agree on a schedule I’ll stick to it, and I need you to do the same. If you’re comfortable managing multiple transaction types and like working inside Excel, I’d love to keep the books with you.
