Invoice Data Entry & Categorization -- 2
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have a stack of digital invoices and receipts that need to be logged accurately into Microsoft Excel. Every line item must be entered exactly as it appears on the source document, then tagged under the correct expense or revenue category so the worksheet is ready for our bookkeeping workflow.
You will receive PDFs and image files in batches. Your job is to:
• Key-in each invoice or receipt date, document number, vendor or client name, description, net amount, tax, and total.
• Assign each transaction to its proper category/type based on a chart of accounts I will provide.
• Double-check totals and category assignments to be sure they balance against the originals.
• Return a clean, well-formatted .xlsx file with filters and basic validation rules in place so I can slice the data quickly for monthly reporting.
Accuracy is paramount; if any figure looks unclear, flag it for confirmation rather than guessing. Experience with bookkeeping data, Excel functions such as SUMIF/SUMIFS and data validation, and an eye for detail will make this project go smoothly.
