General Ledger, AR Reconciliation, Accounting Project

Our small manufacturing company is currently seeking an accounting professional skilled in general ledger and accounts receivable reconciliation for the next 3-4 months. We use a custom AS400 program for our financial processes coupled with manual accounting that heavily utilizes Excel spreadsheets. We need someone who can be onsite for 2-3 days a week at our McDonough, GA office.
Expectations and Requirements:
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Capacity to review a high volume of transactions as we usually see more than 500 transactions per month
- Ability to help improve the accuracy and speed of our month-end process
In addition, you would work directly with the company Controller on special projects like quarterly rebates and monthly sales commission calculations. Your technical aptitude and attention to detail will be particularly beneficial in this role as our primary goal is to enhance accuracy.
