Bookkeeper needed
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
First, I own a brick and mortar retail business with an online store, using Shopify as our POS and we use a third party payment terminal for in-store credit card transactions and use Shopify processing for online orders.
Second, I own a wholesale business. We make products and wholesale them across the country to small gift shop retail stores like our own. We do not use Shopify for this, we use Square and Faire, along with accepting in-person cash/check payments.
I currently use Quickbooks Desktop to manage our accounting, Shopify to manage our retail business inventory, and I track our wholesale business inventory manually. I currently enter each day's sales into Quickbooks manually, reconciling the sales each day as they are put in. I enter the wholesale sales and payments manually as well and I do it under the same company file (The wholesale business is a DBA of the main business, same EIN), however, I assign them under sub-accounts in Quickbooks to keep them separated for reporting purposes.
Our retail Business can average 40 to 60 sales a day during the Summer months, but as little as zero during the winter months (Our brick and mortar is closed JAN thru MAR). Our wholesale business is also busiest in the summer, however, has business going every month.
I am looking for someone that can help simplify and take over this project correctly and cost-effectively.
