Description: Paperback Expert is seeking ghostwriters for upcoming books. Most of our clients are legal, real estate, or finance professionals, but we are rapidly expanding our clientele. We are looking for freelancers who can write about a variety of topics.
The ideal candidate would be comfortable with our “speak-to-write” process, so stellar interviewing skills are a must. We cater to professionals and entrepreneurs who want to write a book to use as a marketing tool but don’t have time to do it on their own. The typical interview/manuscript process is usually completed within three to six months.
The process includes:
– Participating in the initial planning call
– Helping the client/author develop an outline of their manuscript
– Interviewing the client during a series of recorded calls
– Writing the manuscript using the call transcript as a guide while transforming the author’s words into a cohesive and well-written manuscript
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
– Minimum of three years’ relevant writing experience (samples required)
– Outstanding interviewing skills and a knack for developing a rapport with the client/author
– The ability to work collaboratively with the client and the Paperback Expert editorial team

Paperback Expert books are approximately 150 pages (size 5 ½ by 8 ½ inches)
