I’m putting together a short, feel-good children’s story in Indonesian that centres on a brood of anak-anak ayam—each with two little legs and the cheerful cry “cicicuit.” Because I’ve chosen the “Penulisan konten” > “Cerita Anak-anak” path and specifically want “Karakter hewan,” every character in the tale should be an animal.

What I need from you is a complete narrative suitable for early readers: clear, rhythmic sentences, age-appropriate vocabulary, and a gentle moral or takeaway that keeps things light and fun. Dialogue should highlight the distinctive “cicicuit” sound, and descriptive passages must paint vivid images without relying on illustrations. I’m happy to see creative touches—perhaps different farmyard friends join in or the chicks learn a simple lesson about friendship or courage—but please keep the spotlight on the baby chickens.
