Women’s Fiction Thriller Revamp

My 110-k-word women’s-fiction manuscript needs a decisive makeover into a lean, psychologically tense page-turner. I want to reduce overall length by tightening or removing subplots while preserving voice and core themes. At the same time, the plot twists should gain an ominous edge that nudges the book toward psychological-thriller territory.

Structure is another priority: the story should flow through an interwoven mix of flashbacks and present-day scenes rather than a straight chronology. I already have all scenes drafted, so the task is to reshape what exists—trimming, rewriting, or reallocating material—rather than creating an entirely new storyline. Dialogue, pacing, and perspective shifts must remain seamless after the cuts.
