Whispers of the past is a adventure fiction book. This is series one of the book series element academic series. The book is about a girl called Jupiter, who is turning 13 and on everyone's 13th birthday they get invited to element academy to uncover their powers and learn how to manage them. But when Jupiter's twin sister's letter gets 'lost in the post' rumours spiral so Jupiter and her best friend Esther, arrive at Element Academy but not just to learn - to uncover the truth. They find out the school has erased people from history, because they are too powerful and they threaten the academy. Once Neptune and all the Unbound are accepted into the school, Tasmin, Esther and Jupiter think everything is fine until they meet Liora, they think she is a friend who will help them find out who is trying to hide the unbound again. But when they find out she is actually working undercover to stop them and help people hide the unbound, trust wavers and they are unsure whether they can trust Liora, but after she confesses everything they decide to give her a chance. Was this the right decision or will they regret it?
