Self-Help Book Ghostwriter Needed
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
Experienced Developmental Ghostwriter for Flagship Business and Personal Development Book
I am looking for an exceptional developmental ghostwriter to collaborate with me on what I believe will become the flagship book for my long term educational platform.
This is not a typical ghostwriting project. I am not looking for someone to invent ideas or write in their own voice. I already have the core philosophy, thousands of pages of notes, recorded conversations, outlines, and decades of real world experience leading global brands, luxury hospitality companies, and Fortune 100 organizations.
What I need is a true thought partner who can help me organize, challenge, and refine my ideas into a compelling book while preserving my voice.
The ideal person will interview me regularly, recognize recurring themes, identify gaps in the narrative, ask thoughtful questions, and transform conversations into polished chapters. They should be comfortable helping structure a large body of ideas into a book that is timeless, practical, and deeply personal.
The book combines leadership, branding, decision making, creativity, business strategy, and life lessons drawn from more than twenty five years of executive experience.
What I’m Looking For
• Extensive experience ghostwriting published nonfiction books
• Strong background in business, leadership, psychology, or personal development
• Exceptional interviewing and storytelling skills
• Ability to organize complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives
• Comfortable working from voice recordings, interviews, outlines, and existing material
• Able to maintain a consistent voice rather than replacing it with their own
• Strong project management skills that keep the manuscript moving forward with accountability and clear milestones
This will likely become a long term collaboration extending beyond a single book into additional books, courses, keynote presentations, and educational content.
Please include:
• Examples of published nonfiction books you have ghostwritten
• Your specific role in each project
• Your process for collaborating with authors
• Why you believe you would be a strong fit for this project
I am looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful together, not simply complete another writing assignment.
