Research Paper-to-Book Conversion
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a completed research paper and now need it transformed into a full-length book that can be commercially sold to the general public. The aim is to move well beyond the rigid, journal-style presentation and craft an engaging narrative in a conversational, relatable voice that any curious reader can enjoy without prior technical knowledge.
The job will involve:
• Expanding the current manuscript into a clear chapter structure.
• Rewriting dense sections, replacing jargon with plain-language explanations, real-world examples, and storytelling elements while preserving the paper’s accuracy.
• Ensuring every claim is properly cited (endnotes are fine) and the final prose meets readability targets suitable for a mainstream audience.
• Delivering a polished, publication-ready Word document (and PDF) plus a brief list of suggested graphics or sidebars that could enhance reader engagement.
Before drafting begins, I’d like a chapter outline for approval. Once that’s set, you’ll work through iterative drafts—incorporating my feedback—until we reach a manuscript of roughly 45–55k words. A Flesch score in the 60-70 range, a seamless conversational flow, and zero plagiarism flags will serve as acceptance criteria.
