Need Contemporary Christian Developmental Editor!
Budget: $3,000 – $3,200 USD
Hello! I'm looking for someone with excellent editor skills to work on my recent fictional novel.
The premise of the story is about a high school girl who struggles with suicide and depression who later finds God in her life, and because she finds God, she learns to care about others and help them with their problems.
The novel is around 240,000 words and here are the requirements.
Requirements:
1. Must be a devoted Christian and have knowledge of the Bible
2. Must have edited Contemporary Fiction before
3. Must have edited Christian works (daily devotions, books, etc)
4. Must specialize in Developmental editing (overall plot and story, not just line-editing)
I want to be clear on this, I am looking for a specific type of editor, an editor with a strong, personal devotion to Jesus Christ. I'm not talking about whether you grew up in the church your whole life, but if you seek God daily and have an active relationship with Him. Also, I want someone who has worked in Contemporary fiction and has worked on Christian projects as well. If you have not worked in Contemporary fiction before then I won't hire you.
I'm going to submit a writing sample of the first chapter so feel free to look at it.
