Grades 2-3 Adventure Writing Workbook

I am putting together a fun yet skills-based writing workbook aimed at children in 2nd and 3rd grade. The heart of the book will be creative adventure-themed prompts that spark imagination while staying age-appropriate. Alongside each story starter, I’d like targeted grammar practice that reinforces sentence structure, punctuation, parts of speech, and a gentle introduction to short essay writing.

Handwriting drills are not required; instead, I want clean, kid-friendly spaces where students can write their responses directly on the page. Visual appeal matters, so simple illustrations or borders that match the adventure vibe would be a plus, but the focus should stay on writing and language skills.

• Print-ready, well-formatted PDF (portrait US-letter)
• Editable source file (InDesign, Canva, or Word—whichever you prefer)
• Answer key for every grammar exercise
• Table of contents and brief teacher/parent guide explaining how to use the workbook
