“The Only Way I Could” is the working title of the story that’s been living in my head for years. I’m looking for an experienced long-form fiction writer to turn that idea into a compelling, full-length novel.
What I have now
• A high-level premise, overall mood, and a few key scenes
• Rough notes on the main character’s journey and the ending I envision
What I need from you
1. Develop a solid outline that nails down plot points, pacing, and character arcs.
2. Expand that outline into a polished manuscript of roughly 70-90k words.
3. Deliver clean, engaging prose in a consistent voice while refining dialogue, descriptions, and narrative flow.
4. Include at least two revision rounds for structural or stylistic tweaks once the complete draft is delivered.
Tone and style
The novel should feel intimate and introspective, yet still carry enough tension to keep readers turning pages. I’m open to genre-blending as long as the emotional core stays sharp.
