Debut Romance Novel Developmental Edit

The first draft of my romance novel is ready for a deep, developmental edit. My goal is to move far beyond basic proofreading by refining grammar, clarity, structure, and flow while strengthening storytelling, pacing, and overall readability.

Here’s what I need:
• A comprehensive, line-by-line edit in Word (using Track Changes) that tackles awkward phrasing, tense shifts, and inconsistencies.
• An editorial letter that highlights strengths, pinpoints weak spots, and offers concrete, actionable suggestions—especially where character arcs, tension, or scene transitions falter.
• Thoughtful feedback that helps a first-time author grow, not just a mark-up of issues.

Acceptance criteria:
1. Manuscript returned with all edits visible and clearly commented.
2. Editorial letter summarising major themes, structural notes, and next-step recommendations.
3. Consistent style sheet for names, places, and key terms.
