Craft My Story’s Characters

I’m about to dive into a very large personal writing project—think epic-length, possibly close to a million words when it’s all said and done. Before the drafting marathon starts, I need a creative partner who can breathe life into a memorable cast.

Your focus will be characters only. I’m still deciding on the final genre, so flexibility is welcome, but rich personalities, believable motivations, and clear growth arcs are non-negotiable. I envision detailed profiles that cover appearance, history, relationships, inner conflicts, and long-term development paths. If you enjoy mapping emotional beats, designing quirks that feel organic, and spotting inconsistencies early, you’ll be a perfect fit.

Deliverables
• A core roster of fully fleshed protagonists, antagonists, and key side characters (exact number to be agreed)
• Individual sheets or documents for each character, including backstory, goals, strengths, flaws, and potential arcs
• A concise summary showing how these characters might interweave across a lengthy narrative

Acceptance Criteria
• Every profile reads consistently and avoids cliché descriptions
• Motivations and conflicts are clear enough to sustain a multi-volume storyline
• All files delivered in an editable format (Word or Google Docs)
