(Brunei) Southeast Asian Realistic Fiction Writers
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 SGD
I'm seeking talented contemporary fiction writers from Southeast Asia. For this project, I am searching for a writer who is a local/native of the Brunei. Please look for my other projects listed for other Southeast Asian countries in Freelancer.
Each writer from each country will write a story with contemporary themes affecting their own culture, economic and social environment.
Requirements:
- NATIVE or local of Brunei
- Bilingual in English and proficient in your mother tongue. You will need to be able to converse effectively with me in English
- Strong writing proficiency in English and your native language
- Published works or a robust fiction portfolio preferred
- To be completed in 5 to 6 weeks
Story Requirements:
- Themes: Modern society
- Style: Realistic fiction
- Perspective: Third-person omniscient or Third-Person
- I classify each story as a short novel. About 40,000 to 50,000 words
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Proven fiction writing expertise
- Ability to convey complex societal themes
- Mastery in crafting engaging narratives from an omniscient or third-person viewpoint
