I am creating a lively picture book for children aged 3-5 and need a writer who can weave an engaging, age-appropriate adventure in roughly 500–800 words. The tone should be playful yet clear enough for early listeners and emerging readers, with plenty of rhythmic repetition that invites participation at story-time.
Because the story will be paired with colorful, highly detailed illustrations, every page turn should offer obvious visual cues—opportunities for bright landscapes, expressive characters, and small background surprises that reward repeat readings. Feel free to include brief art notes whenever they help clarify the action, but keep the focus on storytelling.
Deliverables:
• Complete manuscript in Word or Google Docs
• Short illustration brief highlighting key scenes, character descriptions, and suggested color moods
• One revision round after my initial feedback
