Title: Part-Time Book Marketing Operator (KU / Performance-Based Growth)
Hours: ~40 hrs/month (2 hrs/day, steady cadence required)
Type: Ongoing contract
Timezone: Flexible, but daily reporting required
---
Role
We are looking for a disciplined, execution-focused marketer to manage and grow a catalog of books (Amazon KDP / Kindle Unlimited + aggregators).
This is not a strategy-only role.
This is a daily output role with measurable actions and results.
You will receive finished books.
Your job is to package, publish, and promote them for performance.
---
Core Responsibilities
- Upload and publish books on Amazon KDP (KU)
- Distribute via aggregators (e.g. Draft2Digital, etc.)
- Optimize:
- Titles
- Subtitles
- Keywords
- Categories
- Blurblines / descriptions
- Set up and manage:
- Amazon Ads
- Pay-per-performance platforms (e.g. BookBeat or similar)
- Iterate listings based on performance data
- Maintain a structured publishing + marketing pipeline
---
Daily Work Structure (Strict)
- Work must be spread (~2 hours/day)
- No batching 40 hours into a few days
- Each session produces visible output
---
Daily Reporting (Required)
Each day you deliver:
- What was published (links)
- Ads created/modified (with metrics if available)
- Keywords / blurbs updated
- Experiments launched
- Short note: what worked / what didn’t
---
Performance Expectations
- Clear increase in:
- Visibility
- Click-through
- Reads / borrows / conversions
- Continuous testing and iteration
- No idle time — every session produces changes
---
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Amazon KDP / KU
- Strong understanding of:
- Book positioning
- Keywords and metadata
- Ad testing (Amazon Ads or similar)
- Ability to write clean, high-converting blurbs
- Data-driven mindset (not guesswork)
---
Bonus (Nice to Have)
- Experience with romance / KU-driven niches
- Familiarity with rapid publishing pipelines
- Experience with subscription platforms (BookBeat, Storytel, etc.)
---
What You Get
- Continuous stream of ready-to-publish books
- Full control over packaging and ad execution
- Performance-driven collaboration (no micromanagement)
---
Important
This role is output-based and performance-focused.
If you prefer open-ended creative work without metrics, this is not the right fit.
---
To Apply
Send:
1. Examples of books you’ve worked on (links)
2. What you would improve on a typical KU listing
3. Brief outline of your daily workflow (2-hour session)
---
We are building a scalable publishing engine.
We’re looking for someone who treats this like a system, not a side task.
---
P.s some content is erotic/explicit, if you cannot deal with this or write blurbs, dont apply, pure simple, romance -erotic -scifi is what i do.
