Job ID: 40059365

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

Book Marketing Specialist for Technical Non‑Fiction Book Launch (Qlik / Data / Cloud)

## Project description

A new technical non‑fiction book on modern data analytics / Qlik Sense Cloud has just been published, and support is needed to plan and execute a focused marketing campaign to reach the right professional audience. The goal is to increase visibility, drive targeted traffic to the book’s sales pages, and build an engaged community around the book and its themes.

The ideal freelancer has prior experience marketing technical, IT, or business books and understands how to reach data professionals, BI developers, architects, and analytics leaders across LinkedIn and other relevant channels. The campaign should emphasize long‑term discoverability (not only launch spikes), using a mix of organic, community‑driven, and paid strategies where appropriate.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse the book’s positioning, target readers, and existing assets (book description, author bio, cover, and current listings).
- Propose a clear multi week marketing plan with milestones, channels, and expected outcomes.
- Set up and manage promotional activities, which may include:
- Optimising Amazon/online store listings (keywords, categories, description suggestions).
- LinkedIn strategy: posts, articles, creator mode ideas, and outreach targeting data / analytics audiences.
- Coordinating reviews and testimonials from relevant practitioners, communities, or influencers.
- Identifying podcasts, webinars, meetups, or communities where the book can be featured.
- Optional: running and optimising small test campaigns on platforms like Meta/LinkedIn ads, if justified.
- Provide basic tracking and reporting (key metrics like clicks, impressions, leads, and sales signals where available).

## Deliverables
- A concise written marketing plan tailored to this book and audience.
- Content calendar for multiple weeks (post ideas, hooks, suggested captions or angles).
- Set of ready‑to‑use campaign assets or briefs (e.g., social post copy ideas, email/newsletter outlines, launch/event ideas).
- Weekly or bi‑weekly progress updates, with recommendations on what to double down on or stop.

## Desired freelancer profile
- Proven experience in book marketing, ideally for non‑fiction / technical or titles.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional communities; experience with tech or data audiences is a strong plus.
- Comfortable with analytics and basic performance reporting for campaigns.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and proactively.

## What to include in your bid
Please include:
- A brief summary of your relevant book or course marketing experience (with 1–3 concrete examples or links, if possible).
- Your proposed high‑level approach for the first few weeks.
- Tools/platforms you typically use (e.g., LinkedIn, Meta Ads, email, communities, PR).
- Your estimated timeline and fee structure (fixed price for a package or hourly rate, plus any ad budget recommendations).
