Romance Novel Print & eBook Design

I’m ready to move my completed romance manuscript from a simple document to a beautiful, reader-friendly book. The story will be published in both print and eBook formats, so I need a designer who can handle a cohesive look across paperback PDF (sized for Amazon KDP) and digital files such as ePub and Kindle.

Interior layout is my first priority: elegant chapter headings, consistent typography, and spacing that complements the romantic tone without feeling overly ornate. I’d also like tasteful drop caps or small graphic flourishes where they enhance the mood. If you prefer Adobe InDesign, Affinity Publisher, Vellum, or another pro-grade tool, that’s fine as long as the final files meet the usual distribution specs.

A coordinated cover—front, spine, back, plus a matching eBook cover—is part of the brief. Expect to work with my short blurb, author photo, and ISBN; I’ll supply those during the process.

Deliverables I need at hand-off:
• Print-ready PDF for KDP (with bleed)
• ePub that passes EPUBCheck and Kindle Previewer
• High-resolution cover JPEG and layered source file
• All embedded fonts and images cleared for commercial use

Once I approve the proofs, you’ll send the packaged files so I can upload without tweaks. Let me know how many design rounds are included and share samples of past romance titles if possible—I’m eager to see your style.
