Poetry Book Design With Illustrations

I’ve finished compiling my poetry manuscript and now need a designer to turn those raw pages into a beautiful, publish-ready book. The core of the brief is simple: every poem should sit in a clean, readable layout supported by thoughtfully placed illustrations that echo the tone and imagery of the text. I’m set on using illustrations rather than photographs or abstract graphic patterns, but the execution style—hand-drawn, watercolor, digital, or a mix—can follow your strengths as long as it feels organic to the poems.

You’ll take charge of page layout, typography, illustration creation or selection, and overall visual flow. If you see opportunities to group or reorder poems for better narrative energy, feel free to suggest them; otherwise, I’m happy to keep the sequence as is.

Deliverables
• Fully designed interior in print-ready PDF (CMYK, bleed, trim marks)
• Editable source files (InDesign or equivalent, plus illustration originals)
• Cover design that matches the interior aesthetic
• Optional ePub or Kindle version if it can be exported cleanly from your layout
