Picture Book Illustration & Layout
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a finished, toddler-friendly story and now need it transformed into a lively picture book for 3- to 5-year-olds. The text is locked; what’s missing are the visuals, page design, and production-ready files.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Rough storyboard to match the pacing of the existing manuscript
• Full-colour illustrations (about 24–32 pages plus cover) in a warm, expressive style that appeals to young children
• Print-ready PDF and CMYK files sized for standard 8x8 or 8.5x11 trim (open to your guidance)
• Layered source files (PSD, AI, or Procreate) for future adjustments
• Optional: a fixed-layout EPUB so the book can go straight to Kindle Kids or Apple Books
I’ll supply the manuscript, character notes, and any reference images on award. Regular check-ins for sketches, colour proofs, and final approval keep us both on track.
