Project Overview:
I need an experienced book typesetter to convert an old PDF book (approx. 360 pages) into a properly formatted, print-ready book file, with word-for-word accuracy. Not a single alphabet, punctuation mark, or spacing should be changed from the original text.
This is not a simple PDF-to-Word conversion. I need manual proofreading + professional typesetting.
Scope of Work
1. Text Conversion & Accuracy
Convert the old PDF into editable format.
Recreate the entire book exactly as it is, with 100% text accuracy.
Manually cross-check and correct OCR errors.
Maintain paragraph structure, line breaks, and original wording.
2. Professional Formatting
Typeset the book for clean, modern, print-ready layout.
Apply consistent margins, spacing, alignment, hyphenation, and indents.
Add page numbers, headers/footers, and proper styles.
Ensure all fonts are embedded and print-friendly.
3. Cover Redesign
Create a new cover design inspired by the original style (not an exact replica).
Provide front, back, and spine as per print specifications.
4. Final Deliverables
Editable source file (InDesign preferred, Word acceptable).
Print-ready interior PDF (300 dpi, CMYK, embedded fonts, bleed).
Print-ready cover PDF (front/back/spine).
All assets used (fonts, images, style sheets).
