Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a completed nonfiction manuscript (charter / framework style) that needs professional interior formatting only, so it is fully upload-ready without additional tweaking on my end.
Trim size: 6 × 9 inches
Style: Modern, clean, institutional, and easy to read
Tone: Polished and authoritative (not decorative or marketing-styled)
Scope of Work
Lay out all pages for print and eBook
Apply consistent styles for:
Headings and sub-headings
Pull quotes (if applicable)
Footnotes / endnotes (if applicable)
Back matter (appendices, acknowledgments, etc.)
Handle:
Page numbering
Margins
Widows/orphans
Section and chapter breaks
Ensure compliance with print-on-demand guidelines (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark)
Color & Design Notes
Body text should be black & white
Color is allowed only for:
Diagrams (already designed)
Interior cover or section dividers (single accent color: blue or green)
No decorative elements, no background colors, no marketing layout
Files & Deliverables
Print-ready PDF (300 dpi, 6 × 9 trim, embedded fonts)
eBook file suitable for Amazon KDP (EPUB or KPF)
Editable source file (InDesign preferred, or equivalent)

1–2 samples of nonfiction book interiors you’ve formatted
Confirmation that you understand this is formatting only
Additional Details :
The manuscript is approximately 45,000–55,000 words (estimated 170–220 pages at 6 × 9 once formatted). It includes a limited number of pre-designed diagrams that must be placed exactly as provided. An auto-generated table of contents is required for both print and eBook. Language is US English. Clean, well-organized editable source files are expected at handoff, along with a brief midpoint progress update during the project.
Additional Note :
This project is the first of two related nonfiction books. The second (companion) volume will follow after the first book is completed. Strong performance on this project may lead to a follow-on contract for the second book.
