Modern PDF Cookbook Layout
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m putting together a digital cookbook and need a designer who can turn my collection of recipes, photos, and short anecdotes into a polished, modern-looking PDF. Clean lines, generous white space, and an overall sleek aesthetic are essential—I want the finished book to feel at home on a tablet or laptop screen.
The files you’ll receive from me:
• PDF documents with the recipe text ( 25 recipes)
• High-resolution food photos for every dish - (28 in total)
• A brief introduction and section dividers
What I need from you:
• A cohesive visual theme that carries through the cover, chapter openers, and individual recipe pages
• Consistent typography choices (header, sub-header, body copy, callouts) that support easy on-screen reading
• Thoughtful placement of images so each recipe feels fresh and balanced
• A clickable table of contents plus internal links back to it from every page
• Delivery of a press-ready PDF as well as the packaged source files (InDesign preferred) so I can update the book later if needed
If you’ve crafted magazine layouts, lookbooks, or previous cookbooks in Adobe InDesign or Affinity Publisher, that’s exactly the eye I’m after. Please share samples that show strong grid use, image-text harmony, and clean modern styling.
