Luxurious KDP Journal Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’ve finished writing a guided journal on being unapologetically single and now I’m ready to turn it into a polished hard-cover edition on Amazon KDP. The manuscript is complete; what I need is the full print-ready package—cover and interior—formatted to KDP’s hardcover specs.
The look must feel premium, something you’d expect to see in a high-end boutique. Think understated luxury rather than loud graphics. To achieve that, the cover has to incorporate things like:
• Gold foil accents
• High-quality imagery that speaks to confidence and independence
• Embossed text or design elements for tactile appeal
Interior requirements
• Final trim size and page count confirmed together so you can set accurate bleed, margins and spine width.
• Layout for lined journaling pages plus the introductory content I supply.
• Consistent typography that complements the luxe cover aesthetic.
Deliverables
1. Print-ready PDF for the hardcover dust jacket (front, back, spine, flaps) and the case laminate if KDP requires it.
2. Print-ready PDF of the interior, fully formatted and paginated.
3. Source files (Adobe InDesign or Affinity Publisher preferred) so I can tweak minor text later if needed.
4. Mock-up images I can use for the product page and social media teaser.
Acceptance criteria: the files must upload to KDP without errors and render correctly in their previewer.
