Inspirational Kids Book Publishing
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have finished drafting an inspirational story for children aged 6–8 and now need help turning the manuscript into a polished, publish-ready book. The vision calls for warm, mixed-media artwork that blends hand-drawn charm with subtle digital enhancements—think lively textures, layered colours and expressive characters that spark curiosity while reinforcing the message of resilience threaded through the text.
Here’s what I’m aiming for:
• 24–28 full-colour pages laid out for both paperback (standard 8.5" × 8.5") and Kindle Kids eBook
• Rough storyboards refined into final, high-resolution mixed-media illustrations (300 dpi, CMYK for print, RGB for digital)
• Consistent typography and page design suited to emerging readers—ample white space, large point size, clear hierarchy
• Print-ready PDF plus ePub/KPF files tested for major devices
• Source files (layers intact) so I can make minor text tweaks in the future
Acceptance criteria
1. Illustration style matches the sample mood board I’ll provide—hand-drawn linework harmonised with digital shading and collage accents.
2. Colours remain vibrant and balanced in both CMYK and RGB profiles.
3. All files pass Amazon KDP and IngramSpark pre-flight checks without warnings.
4. Two rounds of revisions included (text or art).
I’ll supply the complete manuscript, page breakdown and visual references as soon as we start. If you have experience bringing inspirational kids’ books to life—especially with mixed-media techniques—let’s make this story shine for young readers.
