The project centres on creating a warm, engaging picture book that celebrates friendship for children aged 3–5. I have the concept, but I need the complete package—from story to final artwork—shaped into a 24-page picture book that parents and preschool teachers can pick up and read aloud.

The narrative should be simple enough for toddlers to follow, yet rich with emotion and playful language that invites repeated readings. Think charming animal or child characters learning what it means to share, listen, and care for one another. A word count in the 300–600 range keeps page turns light and engaging.
Illustration style
Hand-drawn art is essential. Whether you favour watercolours, coloured pencils, or ink lines with a gentle wash, the images should feel organic and textured—not overly polished digital vectors. Soft, bright colours, expressive faces, and clear action on every spread will help little readers connect instantly with each scene.
Deliverables
• Fully edited manuscript (Word or Google Docs)
• Thumbnail storyboard to confirm pacing and layout
• 24 pages of finished, high-resolution hand-drawn illustrations plus an appealing cover
• Print-ready PDF (bleed and trim marks) and separate layered files for future tweaks
• Simple usage rights agreement confirming I can publish in print and digital formats
Acceptance
I’ll sign off first on the manuscript and storyboard, then on two illustration checkpoints (rough sketches and final colour). When the final PDF matches the approved storyboard and all text is error-free, the project is complete.
