Finalize Book Interior for Professional Print
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
Book Interior Layout Requirements
I have already completed the entire book layout, including text, images, and chapter structure. I am not looking for a redesign. I only need a professional to prepare the interior for print.
Book Specifications
Trim Size: 5.5 × 8.5 inches (140 × 216 mm)
Estimated Pages: 330–350 pages
Binding: Perfect Bound (paperback)
Interior: Black & White
Paper: Cream/Natural Shade
Required Work
1. Mirror Margins
Set up proper mirror margins for paperback printing.
The inner (gutter) margin should allow comfortable reading after binding.
Pages should be centered on the usable page area, not simply centered on every page.
2. Gutter Alignment
Add sufficient inside margin for a 330–350 page book.
Ensure no text disappears into the binding.
3. Chapter Pagination
Every chapter must begin on a right-hand (odd-numbered) page.
If the previous chapter ends on an odd page, insert a blank even page before the next chapter.
4. Part Divider Pages
The book contains 8 Parts.
Each Part should begin on a separate right-hand page.
Leave the back of each Part divider blank to create visual breathing space.
5. Preserve Existing Design
Do not modify fonts, spacing, images, or overall layout unless required for print alignment.
The goal is only to prepare the file for professional printing.
6. Final Deliverables
Print-ready PDF (with mirror margins)
Source file (Adobe InDesign or Affinity Publisher preferred; Microsoft Word acceptable if used)
Fonts properly embedded
Ready for offset or digital printing
Objective
The final book should open naturally, with text visually centered after binding. It should have professional book typography and print alignment comparable to commercially published books.
