End-to-End Book Self-Publishing
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We have a 55 000-word non-fiction memoir that is manuscript-ready and now needs a complete, start-to-finish self-publishing treatment. While every stage matters, the publishing support itself—seamless upload, correct metadata, smooth Amazon KDP rollout, and access to other major platforms—is the single most critical piece for me.
Here is what I expect, in the order the work will flow:
• Proofreading & editing
– Tighten grammar and language without erasing my voice
– Ensure narrative flow and chapter-to-chapter consistency
– Perform light fact-checking where citations are included
• Book layout & design
– Interior formatting for Kindle e-book, paperback, and hard-cover variations that meet Amazon specifications
– An illustrative, creative cover (front, spine, back) delivered as print-ready PDFs and e-book JPEGs/PNGs
– Proper font embedding, bleeds, and high-resolution images so files pass KDP’s automated checks
• Publishing support (priority)
– Secure or guide through ISBN assignment for e book and print version for amazon/kinlde only
– Upload finished files to Amazon KDP, set categories, keywords, pricing, and author page details
– Provide the same ready-to-upload packages for any additional platforms we agree on
– Optimise the Amazon listing for discoverability (A+ content, description formatting, backend keywords)
Deliverables are accepted once the book is live on Amazon without formatting warnings, look-inside previews display correctly, and both print and Kindle versions can be purchased. I’ll review proofreading changes in Track Changes; all design files must be supplied in editable format (InDesign or equivalent) plus final PDFs.
