Elegant Book Interior & Cover Design

I’ve completed a manuscript focused on self reflection / self growth / transformation / connection and now need a polished presentation that matches its depth. The brief covers two closely-linked tasks:

1. A full interior layout – from master page setup to final pagination – in an elegant, formal style. This includes the entire typographic system, page furniture, running headers, and a properly generated Index. I’m looking for graceful spacing, classic type choices, and a layout that feels calm yet authoritative.

2. A complementary cover (front, spine, back) that visually echoes the interior’s refined tone while attracting readers at first glance.

Deliverables
• Press-ready PDF of the interior
• Print-ready cover file with bleed and spine width set to my final page count
• Source files (InDesign or equivalent)
• Optional: an EPUB or fixed-layout version if you already work in that pipeline

Acceptance criteria
• Consistent hierarchy and kerning across chapters
• Index correctly linked to final page numbers
• No widows/orphans; margins meet standard offset printing specs
• Cover passes pre-flight with my chosen printer on first upload
