Black-White Chapter Illustrations

I’m preparing a personal-growth nonfiction book and I want each of the ten chapter openers to feel instantly inspiring. For that, I need ten cohesive, black-and-white illustrations—one per chapter—that sit at the top of the heading page and introduce the theme that follows.

Style & mood
The artwork has a heart-space it can either be illustrative or minimalist icons and should revolve around objects and symbols that communicate transformation and growth: think metamorphosis devices, ascending paths, keys to unlocking doors, seedlings breaking soil—visual metaphors that signal change in an engaging, reader-friendly way.

Technical notes
• Greyscale or pure line art only—no colour.
• Print-ready at 300 dpi for a 6"×9" trim size, with enough margin to survive gutter and bleed.
• Deliver AI or EPS source files plus flattened PNG/JPG for quick previews.

Deliverables & acceptance
1. Ten illustrations, uniform in style and weight.
2. One round of refinements once I drop them into the actual page layout to be sure balance and margins feel right.
3. Final sign-off files packaged and labelled by chapter.

If you’ve handled book interiors or similar symbolic illustration sets before, I’d love to see samples and jump straight into scheduling.

100% of the artwork can be the same. The only differences are the names and titles of each chapter.
