Academic Science Book Layout & Visuals

I have a completed science manuscript that now needs to be transformed into a visually engaging, print-ready book. The text itself is frozen—no rewriting or proofreading is required. What I need is a skilled book designer who can handle three key tasks:

• Typeset and lay out every page so the flow is clean, logical, and attractive, ready for offset or POD printing.
• Generate and embed high-resolution graphs, charts, illustrations, and technical diagrams—AI-assisted tools are welcome as long as the final artwork looks professional and aligns with standard academic conventions.
• Deliver a press-ready PDF plus the editable source files (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or LaTeX—whichever you prefer) along with a separate folder containing all visuals in CMYK.

The finished book should feel at home on a university bookshelf: crisp typography, consistent heading hierarchy, numbered figures with captions, smart footnote placement, and an automatically generated table of contents. If you have experience preparing STEM titles for print, that’s a strong advantage. Let me know the software you intend to use and share samples of comparable projects.
