Whimsical Woodland Picture Book with a Christian Message

I’m finishing a charming children’s story for readers aged 4–7 and now need an illustrator who can bring a cast of woodland animals to life in a soft, pastel palette. The animals—young friend group consisting of a turtle, frog, squirrel, bird and owl. Illustrations should capture a sense of cozy adventure.

My priority is consistency: each spread should share the same gentle color harmony and whimsical line work, with clear expressions that children can read at a glance. I’ll supply the complete manuscript and rough page breaks once we start; you translate those moments into full-bleed illustrations and a matching cover.

Deliverables
• Rough thumbnails for every page or spread so we can lock composition early
• Final high-resolution artwork (300 dpi CMYK) in layered PSD or TIFF format, sized for standard 8x10 print plus bleed
• A separate, text-free version of the cover art for marketing materials
