I’m looking for a designer who can craft a non-fiction book cover that immediately feels vintage yet unmistakably fresh. Think of the warmth and nostalgia of an old photograph—romantic in mood, with delicate detailing and rich, time-worn colours—translated into a clean, professional layout that still speaks to today’s reader. I have some artwork for ideas.
The “vintage” direction is the heart of the brief, but I’m open to whether you lean toward Art Deco ornament, a retro ’50s palette, or even Victorian flourishes, so long as the final result keeps that soft, romantic look I have in mind. Title placement, author name, and any supporting text should balance elegance with readability.
