Vintage A5 Book Cover Design

I’m preparing an A5-sized book and want a cover that feels authentically vintage and classic—think subtle textures, period-appropriate typography, and a restrained colour palette that evokes well-loved editions from past decades. The story itself sits outside conventional genres, so there’s room for you to interpret the mood without being bound to typical fantasy, fiction or non-fiction cues. What matters most is that the design instantly suggests “timeless” when a reader picks it up.

You’ll take the concept from rough idea to press-ready artwork, suggesting fonts, colours and layout treatments along the way and refining them with my feedback. If illustration or photography will strengthen the look, feel free to recommend it; I’m open to whichever approach best supports the vintage aesthetic.
