Romantasy Trilogy Cover Design

I have a three-book romantasy series ready to move into production and I need a stunning, cohesive set of covers that immediately signals “premium” to readers browsing online or in print. Each cover should feel like part of the same world while still giving every installment its own personality and hook.

Here is what I’m after:
• It's a three book series but will start only the first book initially—think consistent typography, complementary palettes, and a shared focal motif.
• Front, spine, and back layouts for print (5.5”×8.5”, with space for ISBN and blurb) plus matching e-book front covers.
• High-resolution, print-ready PDFs (CMYK, 300 dpi) and layered source files in Photoshop or InDesign so my team can make minor text edits later.
• Thumbnail-optimized versions for online retailers.

Because I skipped the earlier style and color questions, I’m giving you creative freedom at the concept stage. I’ll provide blurbs, character notes, and any reference images once you’re on board, and I’m happy to discuss direction—whether that ends up leaning modern, vintage, or something boldly experimental. What matters most is that the final artwork captures the romantic tension, the fantastical atmosphere, and the sense of epic stakes my readers expect.

Acceptance criteria:
• Visual coherence across the series.
• Text remains crisp and legible at both full size and thumbnail.
• All deliverables meet KDP and IngramSpark print specs.
• Two-Three rounds of revisions per cover included.
