Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’ve finished writing my own book and now need a striking, full-colour cover to bring it to life. Because this is a personal project, I’m not tied to corporate branding or rigid guidelines—I’m after a creative partner who can translate the story’s mood into a compelling front, spine, and back layout ready for print and e-book platforms.
Here’s what I have for you:
• Final manuscript title and subtitle
• A short synopsis and key themes
• Preferred trim size and printer specs (bleed, resolution, colour profile)
What I’ll look for in your work:
• A high-resolution PDF (print-ready) plus a JPEG/PNG for digital use
• Fonts and layered source file so I can tweak text later if needed
• Visual cohesion across front, spine, and back, with legible typography at thumbnail size
If you can share a couple of recent covers you’ve created—especially those showing strong colour work—that will help me choose quickly. Once we agree on a direction, I’m happy to give prompt, detailed feedback so we can wrap the project efficiently.
