KDP Interior & Cover Design

My manuscript is ready: 240 pages of black-and-white text that needs to be laid out for Amazon KDP at 6 × 9 in. I want a clean, readable interior with professional typography and consistent styling throughout—running heads, page numbers, chapter openers, the works—while keeping file size and ink coverage well within KDP’s guidelines.

Fonts & styling
I don’t have a fixed type palette yet, so I’m looking for your suggestions on suitable body and heading combinations. I do, however, hold licenses for several high-quality fonts and will share the full set with you once we settle on a direction, so you’re free to recommend anything that fits the brief without worrying about sourcing.

Cover
I also need a full-colour cover (front, spine, back) built on KDP’s current template. I’ll supply the title, subtitle, author name, back-cover copy and any imagery you need; creative layout, typography and overall art direction are yours.

Deliverables (print-ready)
• Interior PDF at 300 dpi, built with correct margins, bleed and embedded fonts
• Cover PDF on the exact KDP template for 240 pp black-and-white interior
• Source files (InDesign or Affinity Publisher for the interior, plus layered PSD/AI for the cover)
