I’m looking for an experienced book cover designer to create a professional full-wrap paperback cover (front, spine, and back) for a nonfiction book that will be published via Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP).

Lots of white space; clean, modern, and high‑contrast; works at thumbnail size
What I Need
Scope
A full KDP paperback wrap (front cover, spine, back cover) for a 6"x9" book
Design must be KDP‑ready using their template (I will provide: trim size, page count, paper color so you can calculate spine width)
Front cover requirements
Minimalist, typography‑led design
White background, primarily black text with one accent red
Incorporate a simple icon that communicates “uncertain / wrong value” (e.g., house with “$?!” inside or a similar concept)
Must be highly legible at Amazon thumbnail size
Spine requirements
Title, author name, and simple graphic or line element if appropriate
Clean and readable at small sizes
Must meet KDP spine-safe area guidelines
Back cover requirements
I will provide back-cover text (blurb, author bio, etc.)
You will:
Lay out the text for readability (hierarchy, line length, spacing)
Integrate design elements that echo the front (colors, subtle icons, lines)
Leave space for KDP barcode (or place barcode box per KDP specs)
Deliverables
Print-ready full wrap for KDP
High‑resolution PDF that meets KDP bleed, margin, and color requirements
High‑resolution JPG/PNG preview of the full wrap
Source file
Editable layered file (PSD/AI/INDD or similar) with all text and elements editable
Concept development
2–3 initial front-cover concepts (thumbnail + flat front) for direction
Once one direction is chosen, you’ll build out the full wrap (front/spine/back)
1–2 rounds of revisions on the chosen design
Style Requirements
No stock photos of people
Prefer clean vector icons and strong sans‑serif typography
Must look credible in real estate / business / personal finance categories
Minimalist, modern, and premium—not “get rich quick” or gimmicky
Color palette: primarily white background, black text, one accent red

Final:
Title, subtitle, author name
Back-cover copy (blurb, author bio, endorsements if any)
KDP specs:
Trim size (6"x9")
Page count and paper color (for spine width)
