Fiction E-Book Cover Design

I’m putting the finishing touches on a fiction manuscript that will launch exclusively as an e-book, and I need a striking cover that will stop digital shoppers mid-scroll. You’ll receive the story synopsis, genre cues, comparable titles, and my working tagline; from there I’m counting on your creative direction to deliver an eye-catching visual that feels at home on Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, and other major storefronts.

Because the book is digital-only, the cover must hold up both as a full-size image and as a tiny thumbnail. Please supply:

• A high-resolution JPG (minimum 3200 px on the long side) in the standard 1.6:1 aspect ratio
• A square version optimised for social posts
• The layered source file (PSD or AI) so future tweaks are painless

If you can also advise on typography hierarchy or suggest subtle treatments that hint at the book’s tone, all the better. While chapter headers and interior illustrations aren’t in scope right now, I’m open to expanding later if this first collaboration goes smoothly.

Turnaround of one polished concept plus up to two revision rounds would be ideal, but let me know what schedule you need to do your best work. Looking forward to seeing your ideas bring this story to life.
