Engaging Dark Fantasy Novel Cover Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
My novel follows a reluctant witch hunter who ends up shielding a timid healer from the powers she fears. I want that very relationship to come through on the cover. The overall mood should feel emotional and protective rather than outright menacing, while still keeping the dark-fantasy atmosphere.
Visual direction
• Foreground: the witch hunter standing slightly in front and turned toward the healer, body language clearly protective.
• The healer should look unsure of her own gifts—hands half-raised, a soft glow hinting at suppressed magic.
• Background: a shadow-soaked forest or ruined chapel, something mystical with subtle arcane symbols worked into the gloom. Keep it detailed enough to set the tone without stealing focus from the characters.
